Provision of Health Services to the Australian Defence Force at Puckapunyal, Victoria

Aspen Medical has been contracted by the Australian Department of Defence for the provision of all health services at the Puckapunyal Military Area (PMA) in Victoria, Australia.

The Puckapunyal Military Area (PMA) is a major Australian Army training base situated near Seymour, Victoria, 100km north of Melbourne. The PMA covers an area of some 50,000 hectares. The Puckapunyal Cantonments Area, situated in the southeast corner of the PMA, and comprising an area of approximately 2000 hectares, contains various unit compounds and training and recreational facilities, and 424 married quarters.

Within the PMA, the Puckapunyal Training Area (PTA), comprising 43,850 hectares, is used for the complete scope of live firing and field activities. Abutting the PTA is the Joint Logistic Command (JLC) 4,000 hectare Proof and Experimentation Establishment at Graytown (P&EE Graytown), Joint Proof and Experimental Unit (JPEU).  

PMA has a permanent population of 1,100 ADF personnel. A minimum of 50,000 students, range users and visitors visit PMA each year.

Provision of Health Services to the Australian Defence Force at Albury/Wodonga, NSW/Victoria

Aspen Medical has been contracted by the Australian Department of Defence for the provision of all health services at the Albury/Wodonga Military Area (AWMA) in Australia.
The Albury Wodonga Military Area centres around two main Army Bases with the primary focus being training of Army personnel. Army Logistics Training Centre (ALTC) is the largest unit.  
Approximately 506 Australian Defence Force and Australian Public Service personnel are permanently located within the AWMA with approximately 6000 trainees attending courses throughout the year.

Provision of Dental Services to Rural Victoria

Aspen Medical was contracted to provide dental therapists and assistants to rural areas of Victoria, Australia to do all necessary dental checks for schools, to meet the State's dental requirements.   This project was completed early, allowing an additional site to be included into the project.
