Provision Of Support To Australian Government In The Solomon Islands
Aspen Medical has been contracted to provide medical and dental services to Australian Government Employees that are currently based in the Solomon Islands. Aspen Medical provides services across 4 main areas in the Solomon Islands. They are:- Clinical and Ancillary Health Care Services, including;
- Primary Care
- Pathology
- Radiology
- Ward Care
- An Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Surgery
- Emergency Care, including resuscitation and ambulance services
- Aeromedical evacuation
- International Medical Retrieval
- Public and Environmental Health and Health Management
- Pharmaceuticals
Provision Of Senior Specialist Surgical Personnel in Support of OP QUICKSTEP
Aspen Medical was contracted to provide specialist medical personnel to support the Australian Defence Force Operations (Operation QUICKSTEP) in the South Pacific during the recent coup in Fiji. These specialist personnel were required by the Australian Defence Force to be ready for deployment with 72 hours of Aspen Medical being given confirmation to enact the contract. The positions included:
- Orthopaedic Surgeon
- General Surgeon
- Anaesthetist
- Intensivist
