| Description: | Aspen Medical is seeking an experienced Theatre Nurse for our Solomon Islands project. The Australian Government, in conjunction with the New Zealand and other Pacific Island Governments, are providing a range of support services to restore law and order to the Solomon Islands. This support covers military, policing and other government aid. The Australian Police and Defence personnel who are currently based in the Solomon Islands are part of the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI). RAMSI was initiated in 2003 in response to a request for international aid by the Solomon Islands. Aspen Medical has been contracted to provide medical and dental services to RAMSI personnel and selected Australian Government employees based in the Solomon Islands Air fares and accommodation provided. |
| Experience, qualifications and documentation required: | Experience and Qualifications Required - Australian registration - Minimum of a Post-graduate certificate in Operating Theatre Nursing or Clinical Practice in Theatre Nursing for a minimumof 5 years. - Holders of a post-graduate certificate must have at least 3 years experience in the Operating Theatres. |
