Aspen Medical becomes a Registered Training Organisation
Aspen Medical today achieved a major milestone by becoming recognised as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Aspen Medical has committed itself to reaching its RTO status by meeting the twelve standards set out in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
Aspen Medical’s Managing Director Glenn Keys said "This is a terrific achievement by the staff involved. They have worked very hard in order to meet the exacting standards required by the ACT Accreditation and Registration Council, and we are all very pleased and excited to have reached this important milestone."
Aspen Medical has committed itself to embracing the requirements of being an RTO in much the same way as it has made the ISO 9001 Quality Certification a key part of its business processes and procedures. The company has over 450 people deployed within Australia and overseas, and many of these staff require mandatory refresher training in basic life support skills. The ability to conduct national recognised training is something Aspen Medical is particularly pleased it is able to do from within its own skills base.
Mr. Keys concluded by saying "This initial certification is the start of our journey as an RTO. As we develop additional courses and programs they will be assessed by the Australian Capital Territory Accreditation and Registration Council before being implemented and offered. The benefits of this certification will bring improvements to our staff and clients now and in the future."
