Aspen Medical announced as Australia’s Number One Defence SME
the award last night, Aspen Medical’s Managing Director Glenn Keys said “Aspen has continued to grow over the past five years not just in Defence but also in the provision of health professionals to Indigenous communities, the gas, mining and oil industries. We are proud to be recognised for this growth.”

Australian Defence Magazine (ADM), Australia’s leading defence industry publication, today announced Aspen Medical as Australia’s number one Defence Small to Medium Enterprise for 2008. Each year ADM conducts a nationwide survey of Australia’s defence contractors and publishes the results in two reports, the Top 40 Defence Contractors and Top 20 Defence SMEs.
Receiving people are providing world class health services to the Australian Defence Force in East Timor, the Solomon Islands, Western Australia, Northern Queensland, Puckapunyal and Albury. Supported by our staff in Canberra, Aspen Medical is a team effort. Without their commitment, dedication and high standards we wouldn’t be receiving this award.”
Aspen has experienced consistent growth year upon year, across a range of industry sectors. For example Aspen Medical recently signed a multi
professionals to support healthcare delivery in indigenous communities in Northern Australia. Aspen’s defence related turnover also placed it 24 Contractors.
