Aspen Medical supports the 2010 Australian Transplant Games

Aspen Medical is providing medical support to the Australian Transplant Games currently being held in Canberra. The Australian Transplant Games are held every two years in different locations around the country and celebrates the success of organ transplantation and encourages Australian families to discuss organ and tissue donation.

Aspen Medical has previously supported the organisers, Transplant Australia, by assisting at the internationally attended World Transplant Games held at the Gold Coast in 2009.

Aspen Medical nursing staff will be on hand at a number of events in Canberra, including the mountain bike, swimming and athletics to administrate medical aid as required.

“Aspen Medical is very proud to be a part of this year’s Australian Transplant Games to help promote the message that organ and tissue donation saves lives.” said Glenn Keys, Managing Director of Aspen Medical.

“Our staff take great pride in contributing to the success and safety of important events like this and we look forward to continuing our association with Transplant Australia for many years to come.”
