Aspen Medical to Reduce Dental Waiting List in the Northern Territory

Australian health services company Aspen Medical has been awarded a contract by the Northern Territory Department of Health and Families, Oral Health Services – Northern Territory to reduce dental waiting lists in the Top End of Australia.

Aspen Medical will perform services on at least 1350 patients, with the aim of the campaign to reduce the waiting list in the region by at least a third.

Aspen Medical’s Managing Director Glenn Keys said “Aspen Medical has a demonstrated track record in assisting State and Territory health departments meet these short term needs.”

Last year Aspen Medical provided dental teams to a number of Area Health Services in New South Wales, removing over 5,500 people from the New South Wales dental waiting lists.

Our team is thrilled to be working on such an important initiative; we look forward to completing the project and assisting Northern Territory Department of Health and Families (DHF) to improve the oral health care of Territorians, ” said Mr. Keys.

Aspen Medical's team will begin treatment once the lists have been finalised by the Department.
