Christmas Charity Donations 2009
This past holiday season the Aspen Medical Team was happy to support a number of charities in the areas of our operations. In lieu of our Christmas cards and gifts a donation of $2,000 each was made to the following charities to assist them in continuing their valuable work:

The Clontarf Foundation aims to help improve the health, employment, education and life skills of Australia’s teenaged male Indigenous population. The Foundation believes that failure to experience achievement when young, coupled with a position of under privilege can lead to alienation, anger and thence to more serious consequences. As a prelude to tackling these and other issues, participants are provided with an opportunity to succeed and raise their self esteem using Australian Rules Football. The Clontarf Foundation currently has 22 Academies within Western Australia & the Northern Territory. To maintain their position in the Football Academy participants need to show commitment towards training and the education program. Aspen Medical’s donation will assist with funding for the NT Academies. |
