Glenn Keys - Managing Director
Glenn’s career covers a broad range of businesses, from start-ups to US multinationals. After a distinguished career in the Australian Army, where he covered a range of tasks, from test flying to managing logistics support for Army aircraft, Glenn was responsible for the establishment of a number of new businesses, either as start-ups or as new business units in global corporations. Glenn’s focus on customer service, coupled with detailed project management, has lead to the success of a broad range of ventures.

Paul Ekin-Smyth - General Manager
Paul had a distinguished career in the Royal Australian Air Force, where as a logistics officer he specialised in the management of major capital acquisitions and the provision of combat support. Paul embarked on a commercial career applying the skills and experience gained in over 25 years in a variety of positions in Australia and overseas. Paul was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his distinguished military service in 2003. Paul is bringing his considerable experience in managing and leading complex projects and large organisations to bear in consolidating Aspen Medical’s position as one of the fastest growing companies in the Australia.

Dr James Ross - Medical Director
James is a medical practitioner with a unique mixture of qualifications, experience and skills in Occupational, Public Health and Sports medicine. Additionally, James has a vast experience in aviation medicine, medical administration, policy development, accident investigation, medical assistance programs, disaster medicine, military medicine, program management and human factors. In his military career, James commanded an Australian Air Force hospital, and oversaw clinical, occupational and preventative health policy directorates. James has also successfully managed large and vital projects such as the establishment of the centre for Military and Veterans Health and implementation of a new medical officer career and salary.


Craig Fitzgerald - Operations Director

Craig served 20 years in the Australian Army predominately as an officer in the Australian Infantry Corps. During this period he held a number of Command and Staff appointments in Australia and overseas. Craig has extensive experience in the successful management of human, physical, information, infrastructure and financial resources across a diverse range of projects. He is responsible for the implementation and performance of all Aspen Projects as well as overseeing the operations of the Aspen Foundation.

Tareq Rahman - Chief Financial Officer
Tareq Rahman is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and of ICA-Australia. He has extensive financial and commercial experience gained in the UK, Africa, South Asia and Australia. After working internationally for several years in senior management positions, Tareq migrated to Australia and joined BritishAerospaceFlyingCollege in Tamworth, NSW as it’s first Finance Manager. More recently, he worked at the CanberraHospital as an interim Business Manager and he joined Aspen Medical in January 2006. As CFO of this company, Tareq has ensured that the company’s rapid expansion is well funded, it’s management is well informed on financial performance, the costs are kept in check, and Aspen Medical is fully compliant in terms of fiscal and financial reporting.

 

Annette Owttrim - Business Development Director - Clinical
Annette’s career encompasses a broad range of activities.  From commencing a career as a registered nurse and working within the Australian Defence Force as an intensive care nurse, she now combines a business background with clinical knowledge to bring depth within the business development division of Aspen Medical. Annette has a Conspicuous Service Medal for her work in the areas of resuscitation and intensive care nursing whilst serving in the Australian Defence Force.

 

Grant Matthews - Business Development Director - Commercial

 

Dr Lisa Studdert - General Manager RAHC
Dr Studdert comes to RAHC from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where her most recent position was as Head of Health Programs in Vietnam. Her work included leading projects in the areas of health systems reform, provincial health infrastructure development, health financing, health workforce, nutrition and HIV and AIDS. Lisa has experience in health sector strategic planning and program management with the United Nation’s World Food Programme and UNICEF and was previously an Advisor on public and Indigenous health issues to the Minister for Health and Ageing, Dr Michael Wooldridge. Lisa has a PhD in public health nutrition.
